MMA Officials Training

The Minnesota Combative Sports Commission would like to announce the first MMA officials training seminar. This seminar will be required for all potential MMA judges and referees. Anyone interested in becoming a MMA official is welcome to attend.

When: Saturday, April 3, 2010
Where: World Tae Kwon Do Academy
6493 Sycamore Ct. N
Maple Grove, MN 55369
Time: Check-in starts at 12:15pm
Class goes from 1:00 - 5:00pm
Cost: $45 per person NOTE: Credit and Debit cards cannot be accepted. Check and cash only.

Refreshments will be provided.

(A) "MMA" is a general term used to identify a mixed martial arts event that describes the convergence of techniques from a varity of combative sports disciplines includiung boxing, wrestling, judo, jujitsu, kickboxing and others.

(B) All contests and exhibitions of mixed martial arts must be conducted under the supervision of the Minnesota MMA Commission, unless otherwise provided by specific statute of the Minnesota Revised Code.

(C) This includes all professional and amateur mixed arts events
